Budget Management in SA360 Driving Cheaper Traffic for Freeview


Freeview is the UK’s digital terrestrial television platform with their own streaming service offering, called Freeview Play, which gives free access to 95% of the nation’s most popular shows. Freeview’s strict monthly budgets and search volume variation made it tricky to evenly phase budgets throughout the month without underspending so Freeview tasked Incubeta with optimizing their budget spend – increasing site traffic without increasing spend.


We tested out the SA360 budget management feature throughout March which enabled us to keep a relatively flat daily cost and spend the full allocated budget more evenly across the month which resulted in a drop in our CPCs, which meant we were able to generate cheaper traffic.
