The Incubeta Influencer Initiative; Visiting The Americas

Following on from the successful launch of our Incubeta Influencer Initiative, Gav has officially passed on the Incubeta Icon, and we’re onto the second leg of our journey with our Americas’ Influencer; Maria.

What is the Incubeta Influencer Initiative?

We’ve selected five of our staff to carry our Incubeta Icon to each of our offices: meeting our amazing employees, touring the Incubeta offices and exploring the diverse and vibrant cities that our staff call home. Each of our influencers have been assigned one region which they will tour, before passing the Incubeta Icon on to the next influencer.

Our Second Influencer:

Name: Maria Mazara
Role: Operations Manager
Time at Incubeta: 6 years
Location: Santo Domingo

Santo Domingo

To kick-off Maria’s journey, she explored her home city of Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. After socializing with her team in her office, Maria headed out to see the local sites, visiting the Centro de los Héroes (The Heroes’ Center), wandering around the Zona Colonial and visiting the Cathedral of Santa María la Menor-  the oldest cathedral in the Americas.

Mexico City

The next part of the journey for Maria and the Incubeta Icon was Mexico City. Maria was welcomed by our Latin America team – the latest addition to the Incubeta family (through our acquisition of data management experts Extendo).

Maria enjoyed a tour of the city given by her local buddy Mónica, visiting the Frida Kahlo museum, riding a classic red and yellow trolley car, and enjoying the local cuisine. Maria was also able to visit the Mexico City office, getting to know the local team.

Los Angeles

After Mexico City, Maria hopped on a flight to Los Angeles, where she spent a few days with our LA team. Her local buddy Kirk showed her round the famous landmarks; visiting Beverly Hills, the Hollywood Sign and even Santa Monica, where Route 66 reaches the ocean.

Our LA team is one of our global creative hubs, specializing in delivering creative design work for clients. This visit was a great opportunity to build relationships between our offices, sharing ideas across the business.

New York

The final stage of Maria’s journey was visiting our new office in New York City. Maria touched down in New York whilst our office was hosting our quarterly Global Town Hall, which is live-streamed to our 21 offices and 660 staff around the world. This timing allowed Maria to meet staff from across our global business as well as sit down with our Global CEO Lars Lehne to answer his questions on her journey as an Incubeta Influencer.

There was just enough time for Maria to visit some of New York City’s iconic locations; the Empire State Building and the Brooklyn Bridge, before heading back home to the Dominican Republic.

Maria’s thoughts…

‘I have had such a great time as an Incubeta Influencer. Over the course of this trip, I have visited four offices in three countries and have had the opportunity to meet some amazing people. I really enjoyed being involved in our Global Town Hall and sharing my experiences with the global business. The best part of this entire experience though, has been building relationships within the wider Incubeta family. I am looking forward to maintaining these relationships in the future.’
