Dr Henry Shevlin is Associate Director of the Leverhulme Centre for the Future of Intelligence at the University of Cambridge. He obtained his Ph.D in Philosophy in 2016 at the CUNY Graduate Center, New York. He is an AI ethicist and philosopher of cognitive science who has written widely about emerging challenges in the design, deployment, and regulation of artificial systems. His work has appeared in major academic ethics, philosophy, and tech journals, and he has written for a number of popular publications including the LA Times, Aeon, and The New European.

Daring To LeadDr Anne-Marie ImafidonAt the age of 11, Dr Anne-Marie Imafidon passed her computing A-Level. By 20, she was one of the youngest to ever receive a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Oxford. A respected thought-leader in the tech space and trustee at the Institute for the Future of Work, Anne-Marie was awarded an MBE in 2017 for her work as a renowned champion and inspiration for women in the world of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). She is an international speaker, current President of the British Science Association, was voted the Most influential woman in tech in the UK in 2020, and hosts the hugely popular Women Tech Charge Podcast for the Evening Standard. Her latest book She’s in CTRL is available now.
